Who We Are
The International Camel Federation was established on September 20, 2018, during the meeting held in Taif, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and included 14 founding countries: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, France, Chad, Oman, Mongolia, Egypt, Tunisia, and Algeria. Bahrain, Eritrea, Jordan, and Sudan.
Its name in Arabic is: ‘International Camel Racing Federation’, hereafter referred to as (the Federation) for short. Its name in English is: (International Camel Racing Federation), referred to as (ICRF) for short.
The Union's main headquarters is located in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Federation maintains membership records, business records, and financial account information at its headquarters.
The mission of the International Camel Federation is to unite all stakeholders involved in camel sport, and to promote the development, expansion and comprehensive participation in camel sport in all its diverse aspects. As well as enhancing understanding and appreciation of the history and traditions of camel riding.

Our Aims
1- To be the sole authority responsible for all international camel races, and to convey his views to other organizations and inform them of his decisions.
2- Coordinating the rules of conduct for international racing and harmonizing them with the various camel racing activities.
3- Promoting the highest standards of organization, arbitration, supervision, racetrack design, veterinary and therapeutic oversight, and anti-doping controls for camels at international events.
4- That camel sports be recognized as an Olympic Games.
5- Coordinating efforts and cooperating with all other organizations that support the advancement of camel racing.
6- That the Federation be the international representative body for national federations and camel racing activities.
7- Encouraging guidance and education in all camel racing for recreational purposes.
8- Coordinating and protecting the common interests of federation members, funders, racers, trainers, owners, and organizers.
9- Preserve and protect the well-being of camels and the natural environment by establishing appropriate codes of conduct.

Our principles
The Federation pledges to refrain, in all circumstances and occasions, from implementing and supporting any rules or regulations that may lead to any of the following:
1- Discrimination against any of the competitors, trainers, or owners based on race, gender, political, or religious grounds.
2- Discrimination against any hybrid breed.
3- As the Federation promotes a safe sporting environment, it prohibits all forms of harassment and mistreatment and will not allow their occurrence.
