AlUla Cup

Camel-Cup-Day-1-Alula-Moments-14-03-23-MM-_7MM6912
A four-day festival of racing, the AlUla Cup is established as one of the highlights of the international camel-racing calendar and possesses one of the largest prize pots in the sport. Organised in collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla, the Cup combines the exciting action on the track with family friendly activities at the trackside Mughayra Heritage Sports Village, attracting large crowds across the festival. After a successful first edition in 2023, the 2024 AlUla Cup was history-making as Day One saw the first ever female-only race take place, won by Saudi jockey Rima Al Harbi. The highlight on the track is always the elite Heil and Zmoul races across 8km on the final day, with SAR 7.5million on offer for the victors in each race. The total prize money of more than SAR 80million is why the AlUla Cup has been nicknamed the Pinnacle of Camel Racing.
